Yes, your community-based grassroots advocacy organization can create a culture of fundraising and be successful at it.  I’m tired of hearing people from grassroots community-based organizations say they cannot develop a culture of fundraising and cultivate individual donors. Instead, they don’t bother to try and spend a lot of time complaining about foundations (which deserve to be complained about, true).
